After creating plenty of smoke without much fire in the last few days, it seems Lazio’s transfer campaign might be ready to heat up in the final hours as they look to seal a move for Stuttgart’s Thomas Hitzlsperger.
According to reports from Lazialita.it, the Biancocelesti are finalising the details of a secret deal which has been ongoing for a few days.
The German comes with a prestigious C.V. as he has featured regularly for the national side, collecting 34 caps and five goals.
Given his previous experience in the Premier League with Aston Villa, sporting director Igli Tare has been keen to close the deal which would see him provide an instant boost to the extremely fragile Lazio midfield.
