Palermo striker Davide Succi has joined Bologna on a six-month loan spell, with the Rossoblu having the option to purchase the player at the end of the season, according to Palermo24.net.
The website also contacted Felsinei boss Franco Colomba, to get his reaction to the news.
"Succi is a player that is known here at Bologna," Colomba explained. "He can play as a lone striker, as well as with someone partnering him up front.
"He is generous, and originally from Bologna.
"We have lost [Pablo] Osvaldo [to Espanyol] and we needed another important striker.
"When you have four strikers that can interchange with one another, it is a good thing. We have [Marco] Di Vaio, [Marcelo] Zalayeta, Succi and a young player in [Henry] Gimenez.
"It is a good quartet of strikers to have."
The coach was also asked about whether anyone would have to be let go, in order to accommodate the Palermo hitman.
"Maybe, but the important thing is that Succi has arrived, and that he is a player we already know a lot about," concluded Colomba.
