The Lupi have arranged meetings with the South American duo, who will be out of contract next summer…
By Vince Masiello
Serie A side Roma will open discussions over new deals with goalkeeper Julio Sergio and midfielder Rodrigo Taddei in February, according to RomaGiallorossa.com.
The Brazilian pair have only five months left on their current contracts and have repeatedly stressed their desire to stay in the Eternal City.
Taddei was heavily linked with a move to Fiorentina last month but eventually opted to stay put at the Olimpico and see out his contract before making a decision on his future.
Julio Sergio has managed to force his way into Claudio Ranieri’s plans this season, relegating compatriot Doni to the bench.
Artur, Marco Cassetti, Mauro Esposito, Adrian Pit and Max Tonetto are also waiting on new deals.
