Milan assistant coach Mauro Tassotti is hoping to witness a triumphant win over Inter on Sunday.
Leonardo's men are hot on the Nerazzurri's heels in the Scudetto race, six points behind and with a game in hand heading into the Derby della Madonina.
Tassotti doesn't see Inter as an imminent threat, but as a long term problem, and he envisages a tough lap in the Scudetto race.
"This is a delicate week for us, but we are happy to have made this fixture an important one," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"We started the season badly but then we recovered by playing really well.
"As for the Scudetto, we are not thinking about it too much, we are just working by the day.
"We are always used to fighting to win the competitions that we play in. We take things as they come, and then we will see what happens."
Leonardo's right hand man was also quick to heap praise on Ronaldinho following the Brazilian's revival this term.
"Ronaldinho needs to feel the warmth of the people beside him. He has such a great talent too. Everything he is doing well at the moment is all of his own merit," he added.
