‘Ibra’ won the gong for the second year running while his former boss Mourinho claimed the ‘best manager’ crown…Barcelona star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been awarded the 2009 Italian Football Association (AIC) ‘Oscar del Calcio’ as the ‘Best Serie A Player’ for 2008-09 during which he inspired his former side Inter to a fourth successive league title.
Ibrahimovic was presented with the honour at a ceremony in Milan last night and spoke about his former coach Jose Mourinho who was named ‘Best Manager’.
“I don’t think he has forgiven me for moving to Barcelona,” he smiled. “Of course I miss him. Anyone would miss a man like Mourinho, he has a great personality.”
Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi was crowned ‘Best Italian Player’ while Inter shot-stopper Julio Cesar edged out Juventus star Gianluigi Buffon in the ‘Best Goalkeeper’ category.

Two extra prizes were awarded by TV channel Sportitalia. Inter striker Diego Milito won the ‘Fan Award’ while former Udinese hitman Fabio Quagliarella claimed ‘Best Goal’ for his wonder strike against his current side Napoli.
