The Draw Against Bari Was A Point Earned Not Two Dropped – Inter Defender Ivan Cordoba
The Columbian took a positive approach as he analysed the Nerazzurri recent setback…
By Stefano Federici
“I think given the way the game was going, this is a point earned rather than two points dropped,” he declared to Sky Sports shortly after the game.
“There is a little bitterness as to how they took their lead with one of the penalties but we don’t wish to take anything away from Bari for the manner in which they approached the game.
“At the moment we are conceding a little too much at the back and a team such as Inter cannot accept so many goals. We all need to work hard to sort out our defensive issues and we hope to start notching up the clean sheets again very soon.
“Nevertheless, it still has to be said when you come up against an attack force such as Bari are, it is almost impossible not to give anything away.”
