thumbnail Hello,

The Robur tactician is hoping to avenge last weekend’s late collapse against Inter…

After watching his Siena outfit relinquish what would have been a historic away victory against Inter last Saturday, coach Alberto Malesani has declared his side are due some luck as they prepare to travel once again to the San Siro this time for a clash with Milan.

“We are owed some luck at the San Siro,” Malesani declared to CorrieredelloSport.

“I can accept that in football there must be a certain degree of human error now and again, but if such circumstances should occur again I hope this time the shoe falls on the other foot.

“The Rossoneri are a top side, but my side will give at a go. Before the game against Inter I said that nothing is ever certain, and again I will stand by my opinion.”

The coach then left comment on the departed Michele Paolucci who recently completed a switch to Juventus.

“The player expressed a great desire to move to Juventus and he pushed the president into letting him go. In this moment we need players with the right motivation and therefore Paolucci’s departure is down to motivation and not a technical decision.”
