Juventus 'Keeper Gianluigi Buffon Set For Return Against Chievo - Report
The shot-stopper will return after a successful operation on his knee...
Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon will make his awaited return to the Bianconeri line-up this weekend against Chievo, according to his wife, Alena Seredova.
Seredova revealed to Radio 2 that Superman had successfully undergone surgery to repair the meniscus in his knee, and has recovered quicker than anticipated, meaning that he will be available for coach Ciro Ferrara to select from this weekend.
Having been out of action since December 13, Buffon will be a welcome addition to the side, which has lost two of it's last three league matches, including a 3-0 thumping at the hands of rivals Milan.
Also still on the Bianconeri injury list are David Trezeguet, Sebastian Giovinco, Mauro Camoranesi and Christian Poulsen.
