Bortolo Mutti Coy Over Atalanta Coaching Rumours - Report
The former Orobici player could take over the coaching reigns from Antonio Conte...
Former Napoli, Atalanta and Palermo coach Bortolo Mutti has revealed that he has not been contacted over taking over from Antonio Conte as tactician of the Orobici.
The Bergamaschi issued a media silence after their 2-0 loss to Napoli on Wednesday, when Conte and president Alessandro Ruggeri were locked in a room to discuss the coach's future.
"For the moment, I know nothing," Mutti said to TMW. "From Atalanta, no phone call has arrived.
"I know that my name has been mentioned, linking me to the bench by the newspapers.
"But I know that at this time, the club are evaluating their options and await the news," Mutti added.
