Bari striker Vitor Barreto has admitted he hopes to realise his dream of playing for a big club one day and his preferred destination would be the Stadio San Siro to wear the shirt of Italian champions Inter.
“I would love to join a top side in the future and Inter are my first choice,” the 24-year-old told the Corriere dello Sport.
“I can really picture myself in a Nerazzurri jersey…”
Barreto has been superb in the first part of this season helping newcomers Bari exceed all expectations in the top flight and turn them into Europa League hopefuls.
The Southerners host Barreto’s former team Udinese today as Serie A resumes after the Christmas break.
“I wore the Udinese shirt and it will be beautiful and exciting for me to face them,” said Barreto.
“I want to score the winner because my Bari must keep alive our fans’ dreams.”
