Sampdoria's Marius Stankevicius Close To Joining Sevilla - Report
The right-back could be playing in Spain...
According to Diariodesevilla.es and TMW, the 28-year-old Lithuanian international would serve a six-month loan spell at the Rojiblancos with the option of buying him in the summer.
His presence at the Sevillistas would provide cover for Sergio Sanchez, who has recently stopped playing due to a heart condition.
In terms of his replacement at the Genova-based outfit, the club has enough cover between Luciano Zauri and Fabrizio Cacciatore, and so will not be on the market looking to add to their squad.
Sampdoria take on Palermo on Wednesday when the league resumes.
