Adrian Mutu Is Not Leaving Fiorentina For Al Sadd - Agent
The Romanian International is set to stay in Serie A…
Following Al Sadd coach Cosmin Olaroiu’s comments earlier this week that he is interested in the striker, Mutu’s agent, Victor Becali, told Radio Blue, “He’s a Fiorentina player and will stay in Florence.”
Becali did admit that there may be interest from the Middle East but confirmed there had been no discussions over a move.
“The coach of Al Sadd did praise the player [Mutu], but I've never talked about a transfer to Qatar.”
Becali confirmed that his client was settled and hinted that a new contract may be in store for the striker.
“A renewal? Perhaps, but it is still early to tell."

Well, you have to admire his fighting spirit...
Incidentally, no team has ever progressed in Europe after losing the first leg by such a heavy deficit.
