Lazio president Claudio Lotito has sent a strong warning out to Inter, telling them that Aleksandar Kolarov is not on the market.
Reports around the peninsula have tipped the Serbian left-back to leave the Olimpico to join the Milanese giants. Rumours claimed Jose Mourinho was planning a move for the star as an alternative to Davide Santon, who has just returned from injury, and Marco Materazzi, who has not featured much this term.
However, Lotito has indicated there will not be any consideration given for talks involving Kolarov.
"I have never spoken to Inter [about Kolarov] and I cannot see any negotiations in progress," Lotito told ANSA.it.
"The reason is simple, Kolarov is not for sale."
Lotito is not keen on losing more prized assets, having already lost Goran Pandev to Inter. Cristian Ledesma and Tommaso Rocchi have also been linked with an exit.
