Davide Santon Won't Leave Inter - Agent
One starlet will remain, another will be on their way out...
Inter full-back Davide Santon has been linked with a move to Lazio in exchange for Aleksandar Kolarov, but FIFA agent Renzo Contratto has dismissed the possibility, suggesting that it is only media speculation.
"There is no truth to it. There has never been anything real with Lazio," he revealed to Sky Sports.
"There are many teams that would like to sign Santon, but I doubt the club will sell the player."
The 19-year-old had a breakout season last campaign, but failed to hold down a regular place in 2009-10, often being benched by coach Jose Mourinho and told that he must improve his attitude. He has been on the sidelines since mid-November due to injury, but is now set to return.
Meanwhile, striker Marko Arnautovic is likely to leave, according to Contratto. 'The Special One' does not rate the young Austrian international and has yet to give him an official appearance for the Nerazzurri.
"He really wanted to come to Inter, but Mourinho is the coach and he is not in his thoughts. He is very unlikely to stay," he continued.
"We'll see if he will go back to Twente in June or to some other team."
