With Bologna making headlines recently for their financial struggles, general director Luca Baraldi has hit out at the clubs looking to swoop in for a bargain.
“Before buying it is true we must sell,” he declared to CorrieredelloSport.
“We are not a supermarket however. The club is looking for two wing-backs and a top class midfielder.”
Following recent comments from coach Arrigo Sacchi who would welcome a move to Emilia-Romagna, the director then ruled out the chances of the former Milan coach sealing a switch to Bologna this winter.
“It would be useless for us to have Sacchi on February 1st. He is a project man and couldn’t help us in the short term.”
