Giovanni Trapattoni Will Not Be Taking The Turkey Job – Ireland Assistant Coach Marco Tardelli
Tardelli dismissed recent rumours linking his boss with a move elsewhere…
With a number of reports suggesting that current Republic of Ireland coach Giovanni Trapattoni is the prime candidate to take the reigns of the Turkish national side, his understudy Marco Tardelli has moved to quash the rumours.
“I have spoken with 'Trapattoni and there is no truth in the stories,” Tardelli declared to RadioUno.
“There have also been voices linking him with the Nigeria job ahead of next summer's World Cup, but again there is no truth to these rumours.
“I can confirm we are doing just fine here in Ireland.”
