The striker has urged his team-mates not to underestimate Parma and get a much-needed win at the Tardini.

Juventus star Alessandro Del Piero says it’s time for the Bianconeri to turn around their dismal run of form and end their winless streak when they pay visit to Parma in Serie A action next week.

“A difficult match against Parma awaits us,” the striker told the club’s official website.

“But we must try and start over with a win.”

Juve are without a win since a 2-1 defeat of Inter on December 5 and have notched up five defeats in their last six outings in all competitions.

Ciro Ferrara’s men were held to a 2-2 draw by Al Ittihad in a friendly test in Jeddah last night as their brief stay in Saudi Arabia came to an end.

“We had a nice time in a country that showed affection towards us,” said Del Piero.

“I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome we received which made me realize that Juve are loved even here.

“As for the match, it was useful to preserve match fitness and try out again the 4-4-2 which is a system we know very well.”
