Lazio sporting director Igli Tare has not completely ruled out having an interest in bringing Palermo striker Edinson Cavani to the Eternal City.
"I have nothing to say on the matter because many names are thrown around, and a lot of them are speculative," Tare told Mediterraneonline.it.
But the administrator's tone changed as soon as the Rosanero player was mentioned in conversation.
"Cavani is an excellent player but I will not start discussing these things. All I will say is that it could be a yes, or it could be a no.
"I currently have my own problems, so I won't begin to talk about other things," concluded Tare.
It is well known that the Roman Eagles are in search of an attacker to replace Goran Pandev, who looks likely to join Inter in the coming weeks.
