David Beckham Is Training Well - Milan Fitness Coach

Beckham is in great shape and ready for action...

David Beckham - Milan (Grazia Neri)
England coach Fabio Capello will be pleased to learn David Beckham has started his new Milan adventure positively, with fitness coach Daniele Tognaccini giving him the thumbs up.

'Becks' arrived at Milanello on Monday and wasted no time in rolling up his sleeves, training hard with the rest of his team-mates on their return from their winter break. He will be put through his paces further today when head coach Leonardo confronts the team with a double training session.

It's so far so good for the England international. Tognaccini has given an update on the player's situation, and he could be ready to play on January 6 when the Rossoneri welcome Genoa to the San Siro.

"He is doing very well, but we have to wait a little to understand the situation better," the fitness coach told Milan Channel.

"As for everything else, Beckham is the same as always, nice, available and professional."
