David Beckham: Milan Can Win The Serie A Title
‘Becks’ is adamant the Rossoneri have more than enough time to make up the lost ground and pip Inter to the Scudetto.
Beckham touched down in Italy’s fashion capital yesterday to begin his second loan spell with the Diavoli and had his first training session at Milanello in the afternoon.
“I am keeping constantly up-to-date with everything that goes on in the Italian league,” the 34-year-old told La Repubblica newspaper.
“We can still cut the gap on Inter and try to win the Scudetto.”
Beckham had a successful five-month stint at the San Siro last season under Carlo Ancelotti, but Leonardo came in over the summer and the Brazilian has introduced an ultra-offensive 4-2-1-3 formation.
“I like being part of this group,” explained the former Real Madrid man.
“I know that the system was changed, but I don’t really care: I will play wherever the boss wants me to.”
