Maxi Lopez Set To Make Decision Over Lazio Move - Report
The talented forward will make up his mind as to whether he will join the Biancocelesti or not...
Gremio forward Maxi Lopez has been a Lazio target for some time now, and the saga could be set to end within a few days, according to Laziosiamonoi.it.
The Argentine has revealed that the Gremio management cut his Christmas holiday short, so that the situation could be explained and resolved swiftly.
"I interrupted my holiday to meet with the [Gremio] club to find out what was occurring, and to stay close to the situation," Lopez affirmed to TMW.
"A conclusion still has not been reached, but over the next few days, it will certainly.
"We still find ourselves in the same spot as before. This makes me feel insecure, but I still want to stay at Gremio.
"There are still many things that need to be discussed, and understand what the club is going through to keep me.
"I hope that a positive solution for all can be found," Lopez summed up.
The player is on loan from CSKA Moscow, but the Russian outfit have stated that they would not stop a move to Europe should the 25-year-old want to do so.
