Juventus Have Not Enquired After Lazio Midfielder Cristian Ledesma - Agent
The Argentine’s representative says his client will make a decision after the Collegio Arbitrale’s ruling.
Juventus have yet to make a formal approach to sign Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma, his agent Vincenzo D’Ippolito has insisted.
The Bianconeri directors have reportedly pinpointed Ledesma as the right man to bolster their midfield line and could sign him on a free transfer in January if the 27-year-old manages to free himself from his contract with the Aquile.
Ledesma was frozen out of the squad last summer after refusing the terms of a new deal and has initiated proceedings to have his contract rescinded.
The Collegio Arbitrale (Judicial Committee) of the Italian Football League is expected to give its verdict early in the new year and D’Ippolito says his client’s future will be decided afterwards.
“I have not been contacted by Juve,” he told TuttoJuve.com.
“I don’t know if Juve have approached Lazio, but they certainly have not done that with me nor the lad.
“I don’t know whether there will be any developments in January. We must await the hearing and the rescission. The hearing should take place in January.”
