Roma Defender Juan Looks Forward To Successful 2010
The Brazilian is ready to give his contribution to the Giallorossi and the Selecao in the new year.
Roma centre-back Juan says he has finally rediscovered his best form after overcoming his recurrent muscular injuries and hopes to continue his progress in 2010.
“I have played five full games on the trot with Roma without feeling any sort of problems,” he told Globoesporte.
“I am feeling well now and I hope it will carry on like this in the new year.”
Roma have got back on track after a poor start to the domestic campaign and have climbed into fourth place before the Christmas break whilst also qualifying for the last 32 of the Europa League.
“The team are improving and this is very important,” explained Juan.
“We still have the chance to win titles. I have many objectives for the new year. I want to help Brazil in the World Cup and give my contribution to Roma to win the Coppa Italia and the Europa League.
“I will give my all to continue like this throughout 2010.”
