Palermo’s Fabio Simplicio Set To Be Fought Over By Roman Rivals - Report
The Brazilian could become a subject of a transfer derby as both Roma and Lazio try to secure his services…
According to Il Messaggero, both Roma and Lazio are keeping an eye on the movements of Palermo’s Fabio Simplicio, whose future in Sicily seems far from certain.
Given the midfielder's history under Lazio coach Davide Ballardini, the Aquile appear to be in pole position to sign the player should he decide to move next month.
However, it remains to be seen whether the Lupi might benefit from their more impressive placing in the standings. While Lazio are battling against relegation at the moment, Roma are locked in a battle to finish in the top four in Serie A.
