Catania Pondering Swoop For Lazio’s Modibo Diakite – Report
The Elefanti are looking to land the Frenchman on loan…
According to recent declarations from agent Ulisse Savini, Catania are interested in Lazio’s giant centre-half Modibo Diakite.
“The Elefanti have asked for Diakite on loan,” he declared to ItasportPress.
“The boy wouldn’t mind a switch to the Rossazzurri given the chance to play with a little more continuity.
“I am still unsure as to whether president [Claudio] Lotito would let him go.”
Given Lazio’s difficulties at the back this season, it seems unlikely that the move would come to fruition. Moreover, Catania are currently struggling against relegation like Lazio and Lotito wouldn't like to strengthen a direct rivals' squad,
