Parma’s Fourth Spot Is A Like A Present – Coach Francesco Guidolin
The Ducali tactician lauded his group for their fantastic first half of the 2009-2010 season.....
As Parma astonishingly sit fourth in the table over the winter break after having only returned to the Italian top flight last summer, coach Francesco Guidolin summed up the year with enthusiasm.
He said to SkySport, “It has been a great 2009 here in Parma with the promotion into Serie A and then our incredible opening to the campaign.
“The results have been our gift to the fans and the fourth spot is like a present under the tree."
Guidolin continued, “This year Parma have recorded over 70 points between Serie B and Serie A. It hasn’t been easy to get back on our feet, but this year we have demonstrated a great continuity.
“I have a group of players that wants to continue to surprise. If you turn the clock back 12 months, we were all watching Serie A on the television but now it’s become our home.”
