Walter Zenga An Option For Unirea Urziceni - Report
The former Italy star may return to coach in Eastern Europe...
Walter Zenga is on the shortlist of coaching options for Romanian outfit Unirea Urziceni, according to tuttomercatoweb.
Coach Dan Petruscu resigned and the club are expected to announce his successor later this week, with the Italian being the most likely.
Zenga was sacked by Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini on November 23 after an inconsistent start to the 2009-10 campaign that saw the club languishing in mid-table.
The former Inter goalkeeper is a seemingly good fit to lead the European minnows, having already coached in Romania with National, Dinamo, and Steaua Bucharest.
Unirea surprised many with their performances in the group stages of the Champions League this season, but ultimately finished third and were knocked down to the Europa League competition and will face Liverpool in the next round.
