Juventus have turned their attention back to Udinese midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino, according to the Corriere della Sera.

The Turin-based club were interested in the player during the past summer, but a move collapsed as president Giampaolo Pozzo wanted in the region of €20 million. Instead, Juventus brought in Fiorentina's Felipe Melo, who has failed to produce this season.

With the midfield posing a problem area due to injuries and players in poor form, D'Agostino could finally be on his way to the Stadio Olimpico as Udinese are now willing to deal be more negotiable regarding price.

Many feel that the player's abilities as a deep-lying playmaker would be beneficial for the struggling Serie A giants, who have been eliminated from the Champions League and sit nine points behind Italian league-leaders Inter.

According to the report, another option for coach Ciro Ferrara's side is Lazio 'rebel' Cristian Ledesma.
