Manchester United? I Am Happy In Palermo - Simon Kjaer

The Danish international has moved to raze suggestions he would join the English side...

Simon Kjaer - Palermo
Palermo defender Simon Kjaer claims he is happy to stay in Sicily rather than join Manchester United in response to reports that have linked him with the Old Trafford side.

"Manchester United? I am very happy here in Palermo and I want to contribute so we can earn a European place," he told The Daily Star.

"I still have three years on my contract and I have not had any contact with anyone. I am fully focused on Palermo."

While a January move seems unlikely, Kjaer was in no mood to look into the crystal ball as he sidesteps the idea of moving in the summer.

"I am taking things day by day so I cannot say what will happen in six months time," he concluded.
