Jean-Claude Blanc: Juventus Must Not Listen To The Critics
The chief has hit back at critics...
Juventus president Jean-Claude Blanc has told the players to ignore all the recent criticisms if they are to bounce back after the festive break.
The Old Lady has lost three of the last five Serie A matches, raising questions over their ability to reach objectives this season. Players and coach Ciro Ferrara have come under heavy fire. However, Blanc has leapt to their defence once again.
"We must not pay attention to the doubters, but we have to surpass it," he told Le Monde.
"I don't have many friends in the Italian press. The journalists are irritated that a Frenchman has arrived there."
Blanc has also given an update on the rate of progress regarding the new stadium.
"We will be the first club on the peninsula to have to this. It's a project that will bring in an income that will help us become self-sufficient. We will see if the others can do the same," he concluded.
