Goran Pandev To Have Inter Medical On Monday - Report
The free agent is days away from signing for Inter...
Former Lazio striker Goran Pandev is on the verge of joining Inter and a deal could be rubber stamped within the next week.
Itaposrtpress reports that the Macedonian, who won his legal battle to wriggle free from Lazio, will undergo a medical at Inter's Appiano Gentile training ground on Monday.
Pandev, should he pass the tests, will then be offered a four-year deal that will net him around €3 million per season with a number of performance-related bonus schemes.
Inter are set for a mini ritiro in Saudia Arabia, but the reported deal could be announced officially by January 2 when the transfer market re-opens in Italy.
It appears the hitman has snubbed a strong interest from Napoli, who were said to be weighing up their options for him. The Nerazzurri hope Pandev will be able to fill Samuel Eto'o's boots when he jets off for the African Cup of nations.
