Luciano Moggi: Ciro Ferrara Is Not To Blame For Juventus Errors
Moggi has made his traditional Christmas speech on Calcio as he analyses a number of Serie A issues...
Former Juventus transfer chief Luciano Moggi believes the recent problems that have engulfed the club on the pitch are not the making of Ciro Ferrara as he defends the coach.
The Bianconeri have lost three of their last five games in Serie A, leaving them well off the Scudetto pace as they sit nine points behind Inter.
Sceptics have pointed the finger at Ferrara for the discontent at Vinovo, but Moggi suggests it's all down to the club for making fallacious decisions.
"I don't know what the problem is at Juventus. It certainly isn't Ferrara's fault because he has found himself with players who are not up to the Juve standard," Moggi told Ilsussidiario.net.
Moggi can only see one winner for the title, but has criticised Inter for their lack of spectacular football.
"I don't think Inter have any rivals for the Scudetto. We always knew that, but to say they are playing well..." he added.
With the January transfer window just days away from opening for business, Moggi has given his views on the Goran Pandev situation. The Macedonian has been widely tipped to join the Nerazzurri.
"Pandev is a great player and I think he will be heading for Inter," he concluded.
