Inter Captain Javier Zanetti Plays Down Banfield Link
The Nerazzurri legend has joked about links with his old club...
According to Itasportpress.it, Banfield president Carlos Atilio Portell has shown an interest in the Nerazzurri captain.
Zanetti was in Argentina on Tuesday evening at a special dinner to celebrate the club's title-winning campaign this year.
'El Tractor' has revealed he still holds a good feeling for El Taladro, but joining them appears beyond question.
"Banfield are in my heart. I couldn't have left Banfield in the ways I would have wanted, but the people here are always great. Will I come back? I have to speak with president Portell," he joked when asked whether he would return.
