Lazio Set To Lose Tommaso Rocchi As Well After Goran Pandev Blow - Report
Reports circling Formello claim an interest from Zenit in the Italian...
A winter of discontent is about to get worse at Formello. Tuttomercatoweb.com claims Zenit coach Luciano Spalletti has spoken to Rocchi. During their conversation, Spalletti reportedly offered him a contract with the Russian outfit as he looks to strengthen his squad during their long winter break before the new season gets underway in March.
Rocchi is said to be taking time to reflect on the offer from the former Roma boss. Zenit qualified for the third qualifying round of next season's Champions League and it is said the coach is keen to spend in order to create a side capable of challenging for domestic and European prizes.
The lure of Champions League football as well as a new experience could prompt Rocchi to call time on his Lazio career.
