Genoa President Enrico Preziosi: An Agreement With Fernando Menegazzo Is In Place
The Brazilian's transfer to Italy should be wrapped up soon...
Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has revealed the Bordeaux midfielder Fernando Menegazzo is on the verge of joining his Serie A outfit.
"We have an agreement with Menegazzo, there just remains a few details," he explained to Sky.
"I don't think there will be a problem working out the details with the club. Otherwise, we might also do something in defence, for now we are looking around."
The 28-year-old has made 17 Ligue 1 appearances in 2009-10, and played in all six of the club's Champions League matches. The player's agent has already revealed his client's desire to move to Italy.
Meanwhile, the Grifoni supremo does not expect much movement in the winter transfer market.
"This market will not be so exciting, there is not a lot of money to make investments. Each team will try to arrange low cost deals."
