A furious Claudio Lotito has promised to fight on in response to the Lega Calcio's decision in favour of Goran Pandev - a ruling that has allowed the striker to break free from his contract with Lazio.

"The sentence was already written, which is why we made an appeal. I am tranquil in any case, all I can say is that this doesn't end here," the chief told Radio Radio.

"I will not give up, this is in no way over, then we will see who wins. I will not talk further now."

The decision means Lotito will have to pay Pandev €160,000 in compensation. He will also have to foot the bill for legal costs.

Radio Radio claim the Italian is seeking to take his case through the civil justice system in Italy. He is expected to appeal to the Italian FA to have the Lega Calcio's decision waived so he can take action through the courts.

As things stand Pandev is free to join any club.
