Lazio Striker Goran Pandev In Roma Link?
Some far-fetched voices in Rome claim Pandev will join Roma in a revenge attack on Claudio Lotito...
Lazio striker Goran Pandev could join Roma once his contract rescission comes through in a sensational twist to the seemingly never-ending story.
According to Goal.com Italia, the striker is likely to be granted his request by the Lega Calcio's contract dispute resolution chamber later this evening when an official announcement is expected.
He has been tipped to join Inter, with Juventus, Sevilla and Tottenham all in the running. But voices in the capital suggest a sensational transfer scenario is about to develop with the Macedonian pondering a move to the Lupi.
Should the Lega Calcio grant Pandev his request, he would be able to join any team on a free transfer. All he would have to do is agree personal terms with whoever is willing to pay him the best wages.
On Monday Pandev said he was "leaving Lotito, not Lazio." suggesting he wants to stay in Rome, albeit with another club.
