Inter coach Jose Mourinho has admitted he doesn't welcome the Serie A winter break, telling Sky Sport24 just how much he misses the Christmas fixture list in the Premier League.

While many Premier League manager’s will be complaining about playing so many games in so few days, former Chelsea manager Mourinho has spoken of how he used to enjoy the festive fixture list back in England.

"For me, it was absolutely great to play all those games,” he said, “with stadiums full of children, families...”

While England’s top clubs face two games in three days between Boxing Day and New Year's Eve, Serie A sides played their last fixtures two days ago and will not return until January 6th.

The three week break is seemingly too much for Mourinho, who said "I miss football, even for a short time".

Inter will travel to Chievo in their first match of the calendar year.
