The agent of Brazil and Flamengo striker Adriano has clarified the situation regarding his client's possible return to Europe.
Gilmar Rinaldi stated that the 27-year-old will not be making a move to any European club over the winter transfer window
"Adriano will not be moving," Rinaldi said, according to Goal.com Italia. "He has decided to stay here, even if he had the possibility to return.
"He will honour his contract with Flamengo.
"His objective is to participate and play a major role during next year's World Cup," the agent concluded.
A host of European teams have been linked with the former Inter hitman, including cross-town rivals Milan, Manchester City, Manchester United, West Ham United and Roma.
