Bordeaux Star Yoann Gourcuff Tops Inter Wishlist
The Nerazzurri are interested in the exciting playmaker...
Inter are tracking Girondins de Bordeaux midfielder Yoann Gourcuff, but a move is unlikely to occur until the summer, according to Telelombardia.
After struggling with AC Milan in Serie A, the 23-year-old has become a star in Ligue 1 and a regular on the French national team over the past two years.
The French outfit paid approximately €15 million for the player's services, but a higher price would have be offered to lure him away from the Stade Chaban Delmas.
The ex-Rennes player was appointed the 'The Best French Footballer of 2009' by France Football. However, with Bordeaux still involved in the Champions League this season and the World Cup around the corner, the club are unlikely to consider any moves until the summer.
The report also suggested that Gourcuff's future will depend on whether coach Laurent Blanc leaves the club at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri continue to be linked with Luca Toni and Goran Pandev in the upcoming winter transfer window.
