Parma Midfielder Daniele Galloppa Blasts Roma’s Transfer Policy
The Italy international has criticized his former club ahead of this afternoon’s clash at the Olimpico.
“Roma have failed to wait for several of their players to develop, although I can see that it is a widespread issue,” Galloppa told LaRoma24.it.
“Roma released important players who would have been helpful to the Giallorossi’s cause now. After all, only [Francesco] Totti and [Daniele] De Rossi have stayed put.
“Even Aquilani left this summer. I was sorry to see that happen, particularly because he wanted to stay with his hometown side.”
Galloppa came through the youth ranks at Trigoria but left the Giallorossi for good in 2007 when he made a permanent move to Siena after a series of loan spells around the peninsula.
“It was me who gave up on Roma when I was at Siena and asked to be sold on,” explained the 24-year-old.
“I have no regrets. At 20 I was not the Galloppa I am now and I still had to mature.”

Joel Peeperkoorn feels that Arsenal should rest their big guns in the second leg, saying: “There's no way we can beat Milan by five goals."
Jez Cook, however, takes a different perspective, singing himself back to positivity: “FIVE FOUR we're gunna win five four we're gunna win five four we're gunna win five four ....FIVE FOUR we're gunna win five four we're gunna win five four we're gunna win five four ...FIVE FOUR - just keep repeating it.”
Well, you have to admire his fighting spirit...
Incidentally, no team has ever progressed in Europe after losing the first leg by such a heavy deficit.
