Udinese Sporting Director Sergio Gasparin: Gaetano D'Agostino To Napoli? Maybe Later

The Zebrette official aims to hold on to the Italy midfielder...

Udinese sporting director Sergio Gasparin has revealed that midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino's potential move to Napoli is up in the air.

The Vesuviani have been linked with a move for the Italian playmaker, whose performances last season earned him a berth in Marcello Lippi's national team.

Gasparin revealed that the player remains in the plans of coach Pasquale Marino, but claims a deal may still be done in the new year, depending on negotiations.

"We are only thinking about the final match of 2009 against Cagliari, I don't want to talk about the market yet," he told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"D'Agostino to Napoli? We will talk again in 2010, even though the club's goal is to give continuity to the current tactical set-up."
