Juventus Chase Lazio Star Goran Pandev - Report
The Old Lady are back in the hunt for the want-away Lazio forward...
Juventus are reportedly keen again on acquiring the services of Lazio striker Goran Pandev, after initially declaring their interest in the summer.
The Macedonian international is desperate to leave the Biancocelesti following a massive fall-out with club officials over a new contract.
Juventus were originally scared off by Lazio's public refusal to accept anything less than €19 million for the player's services. However, the need for reinforcements may force Juve into making a winter move for the forward.
Pandev and Lazio will meet in front of an arbitration panel on December 21, where there is a possibility of the contract being instantly terminated, enabling the striker to leave on a free transfer.
What is more likely though, according to tuttosport.com, is that the two clubs will come to an agreement on a fraction of the original fee Lazio were looking for as Pandev's contract is set to expire in the summer.
If Juve do manage to sign the dynamic forward they will have to beat off competition from Tottenham Hotspur, who are also said to be interested.
