Fiorentina And Catania Interested In Andrea Caracciolo - Report
The forward could return to Serie A football this January...
Brescia may be willing to let striker Andrea Caracciolo leave during the winter transfer window if the price is right, according to tuttomercatoweb.
The 28-year-old has ten goals in Serie B this season, moving him close to the top of the scoring charts, and both Fiorentina and Catania have shown an interest in bringing the player back to Serie A.
Catania are struggling this season, sitting in last place with only nine points, and require a boost in firepower. Meanwhle, Fiorentina are looking for a capable back-up to Alberto Gilardino.
Caracciolo could fit the bill, as he has top flight experience with current club Brescia, Palermo and Sampdoria. The Milan-born striker has two caps for the Italian national team, but has not featured since a friendly in 2006.
