Gremio Defender Rever On Verge Of Lazio Move - Report
The youngster could be on his way to the Stadio Olimpico in Rome...
Lazio are reportedly close to an agreement to sign Gremio defender Rever, according to Globoesporte.
The 24-year-old is also being tracked by Porto Alegre, but the Biancocelesti appear to have the inside track for a transfer fee of €5 million.
One bump in the road is that the Brasileiro club want the entire transfer fee in a lump sum, but Lazio president Claudio Lotito would like to pay the cost in two instalments.
In November, the player's agent had poured cold water on the move, but the most recent reports indicate the switch is on the cards again.
Lazio are looking to strengthen their squad after an underwhelming start to the season, collecting just 16 points from 16 matches in Serie A and being eliminated from the Europa League.
