Inter Defender Ivan Cordoba Reflects On 'Disappointing' Atalanta Draw

Inter defender Ivan Cordoba claims his side were capable of beating Atalanta, but has welcomed his side's point following the 1-1 draw in Bergamo on Sunday.
The Nerazzurri let a 1-0 lead slip with nine minutes remaining after Wesley Sneijder was sent off. However, Cordoba is not too bothered about the dropped points, as Scudetto challengers Milan and Juventus both lost at the weekend.
"I think we could have scored another goal to win the game, but we realised it was too late," Cordoba told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
"In any case we earned a point and we will continue to work well and think about our next games.
"We are a little disappointed as we don't like conceding goals, but to do well we have to take risks sometimes.
"I always play to give my maximum to contribute to the team."
