AC Milan full-back Gianluca Zambrotta says the morale within the Rossoneri camp is sky-high after going through to the last 16 of the Champions League this week and they will set no limits.

“We hope to go as far as possible, hopefully right to the final,” the 32-year-old admitted to Sky Sport Italia.

“We’ll give it a shot. We’re in the last 16 and know that we are going to face important teams, but we believe in it.

“We are going through a good period of form and want to go all the way, both in the Champions League and in Serie A.”

Milan claimed a fifth win on the trot in the Italian league last weekend and are now only four points adrift of cross-city rivals and reigning champions Inter.

“We are all there and there is still a lot to go,” mused the Italy international.

“We all want to win the Scudetto and it will be tough until the very end. Things are going well for us after a difficult start and played good football in certain games.”
