Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini Rules Out Edinson Cavani For Pasquale Foggia Swap Deal
Zamparini has poured cold water on the rumours...
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has ruled out a swap deal involving Rosaneri striker Edinson Cavani and Lazio midfielder Pasquale Foggia.
Despite Foggia capturing the attention of the Sicilian supremo, Zamparini declared that his team has no need for him.
"Cavani to Lazio? It is all a fantasy that I read for the first time in a newspaper," Zamparini was quoted as saying to TMW.
"Pasquale is a really good player - and I have never denied this point - but we do not need him at the moment," concluded the president.
Palermo take on Cagliari this weekend, while Lazio face Genoa.
