Report: Juventus ‘Keeper Gianluigi Buffon Postpones Meniscus Surgery
The Italy international will not go under the knife today…
According to Raisport, Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has agreed with the club to postpone surgery on the lateral meniscus in his left knee.
The operation had been scheduled for today after the problem had flared up again during last Saturday’s win over Inter and to allow the 31-year-old to play in yesterday’s key Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
It’s still unclear why Buffon has reportedly decided to call it off as Juve have not released any official statements.
