Fernando Orsi Denies Contact With Lazio Over Coaching Job
The former Aquile player has dispelled any reports stating he will take over for current coach Davide Ballardini...
Ballardini has found it difficult to win matches in the domestic league, with the side's last victory coming way back in August.
"At the moment, I have had no contact whatsoever with [Claudio] Lotito or the club," Orsi told Lalaziosiamonoi.it. "It is right that Ballardini has the possibility to do his best.
"The life of a coach is subject to these criticisms... Should the phone call arrive [from Lazio], I would quickly come to help.
"Who wouldn't do that? Lazio are the team in my heart ever since I was a child," concluded Orsi.
Lazio play Genoa this weekend, hoping to end their winless run.
